La Yayi, como la conocemos en casa, es una gata anciana, muy anciana, quizá 20 años o más. Cuentan era cuidada por un vecino y una vez se fue y al ser cariñosa el resto la seguían alimentando en lo que ella conocía como su zona. Tuvo una gran otitis que nadie curó y poco a poco, con la llegada de vecinos que creen que solo ellos pueden vivir en este mundo, comenzó a molestar porque decían olía mal. Estaba muy enferma.
La cogimos junto y a su compañero Simi, adoptado en Barcelona, y los llevamos al veterinario e intentamos buscar, sin éxito, hogar para la Yayi...bueno, sin éxito no, ella ya había llegado a su hogar, a nuestro hogar.
Este verano y contra todo pronóstico, es el cuarto verano que pasa con nosotros, con sus achaques, apenas oye y su artrosis cada vez es mayor, pero enormemente feliz, con una maravillosa mirada que solo la sabiduría de los años puede dar.
Ella es " La Yayi" nuestra gata usada y adoptarla fue la mejor decisión.
Adoptad gatos ancianos, ciegos, sordos, cojos, feos, positivos... y que todo el mundo se entere lo que se están perdiendo.

.Hoy nuestra querida Yayi se ha levantado sin apenas poder caminar y cuando lo hace se cae
. Ya sabéis es muy mayor y que tiene una artrosis brutal, pero es cierto que hasta hoy ella hacía una vida completamente normal, con los achaques de la edad, pero andaba, hasta se subía al sofá y hasta a la mesa si olía un trozo de pizza.

Nosotros no tenemos ese suelo pero si hay alguien que tenga, ya no lo utilice y nos lo puede prestar, sería fantástico ponérselo y ver si algo mejora. Sabemos es muy mayor pero duele mucho verla caer una y otra vez.
No sabemos el tiempo que nos queda juntas, pero lo que quede queremos que ella lo viva feliz

We have put rugs and blankets on the floor so that she doesn't slip off and walks more stably, but maybe with a cork floor like those children's ones, she will have more grip and may even be able to get up on her own.
We don't have such a floor but if there is someone who has one, no longer uses it and can lend it to us, it would be great to put it on and see if anything improves. We know she is very old but it hurts a lot to see her fall over and over again.

She had a bad ear infection that nobody cured and little by little, with the arrival of neighbours who believe that only they can live in this world, she started to get annoyed because they said she smelled bad. She was very sick.
We took her and her companion Simi, adopted in Barcelona, to the vet and we tried to find, without success, a home for Yayi... well, not without success, she had already arrived to her home, to our home.
This summer, against all odds, is the fourth summer she has spent with us, with her aches and pains, she can hardly hear and her arthrosis is getting worse and worse, but she is enormously happy, with a wonderful look that only the wisdom of the years can give her.

Yayi, wie wir sie zu Hause kennen, ist eine alte Katze, sehr alt, vielleicht 20 Jahre oder mehr. Es heißt, dass sie von einer Nachbarin gepflegt wurde, und nachdem sie gegangen war, und weil sie anhänglich war, fütterten die anderen Menschen sie weiter in dem Bereich, den sie als ihren Bereich kannte. Sie hatte eine schlimme Ohrenentzündung, die von niemandem geheilt werden konnte, und mit der Ankunft von Nachbarn, die glauben, dass nur sie in dieser Welt leben können, begann sie sich zu ärgern, weil sie angeblich schlecht roch. Sie war sehr krank.
Wir brachten sie und ihre Gefährtin Simi, die in Barcelona adoptiert wurde, zum Tierarzt und versuchten erfolglos, ein Zuhause für Yayi zu finden... nun, nicht ganz erfolglos, sie war bereits in ihrem Zuhause, in unserem Zuhause angekommen.
Diesen Sommer verbringt sie nun schon den vierten Sommer bei uns, mit ihren Schmerzen, sie kann kaum noch hören und ihre Arthrose wird immer schlimmer, aber sie ist unheimlich glücklich, mit einem wunderbaren Blick, den ihr nur die Weisheit der Jahre verleihen kann.

Heute ist unsere liebe Yayi aufgewacht, ohne laufen zu können und wenn sie es tut, fällt sie um?. Sie wissen, dass sie sehr alt ist und eine brutale Arthrose hat, aber es ist wahr, dass sie bis heute ein ganz normales Leben geführt hat, mit den Schmerzen des Alters, aber sie ist gelaufen, sie ist sogar auf das Sofa und sogar auf den Tisch geklettert, wenn sie ein Stück Pizza gerochen hat.
Wir haben Teppiche und Decken auf den Boden gelegt, damit sie nicht ausrutscht und stabiler läuft, aber vielleicht hat sie mit einem Korkboden wie diesen Kinderböden mehr Halt und kann vielleicht sogar alleine aufstehen.
Wir haben keinen solchen Boden, aber wenn es jemanden gibt, der einen hat, ihn nicht mehr benutzt und ihn uns leihen kann, wäre es großartig, ihn aufzulegen und zu sehen, ob sich etwas verbessert. Wir wissen, dass sie sehr alt ist, aber es tut sehr weh, sie immer wieder fallen zu sehen.
Wir wissen nicht, wie viel Zeit uns noch bleibt, aber wir wollen, dass sie diese Zeit glücklich verbringt❤.
